ECO-SOMATICS
How can we talk to Nature and not just about it?
Eco-somatics takes us beyond words, drawing inspiration from vibrant matter and eco-feminism. We attune our senses to the intricate language of nature, recognizing our interconnectedness with all living beings. Through somatic connection, we listen to the whispers of the wind, the melodies of birdsong, and the dance of sunlight on leaves as well as the agency of toxic waste material.. This deep dialogue fosters responsibility and inspires actions aligned with eco-feminist values. In the realm of eco-somatics, we honor the Earth’s wisdom, transcending language to create harmony through the pulse of life itself.
QUEER ECOLOGY
What is natural?
What are we talking about when we talk about nature?
Queer ecology invites us to reimagine our relationship with nature through a lens of inclusivity, fluidity, and diversity. It challenges traditional notions and binaries, recognizing the interconnectedness of all beings. By celebrating ecological diversity and embracing the blurring boundaries between nature and culture, we foster empathy, compassion, and coexistence. Queer ecology prompts us to question norms, advocate for justice, and create spaces where all voices are heard. By embracing this transformative approach, we contribute to a more harmonious and inclusive relationship with nature, honoring the interconnected web of life.
SPIRITUAL ECOLOGY
Spiritual ecology is a transformative approach that recognizes the interconnectedness of all life and the sacredness of the Earth. It encompasses a deep spiritual connection with nature, listening to the cry of the Earth and embracing indigenous wisdom. Through rituals, ceremonies, and reflection, we develop reverence and gratitude for the Earth’s gifts. By living in harmony with the natural world, we restore balance, heal the planet, and nurture our own spiritual growth. In the realm of spiritual ecology, we embark on a journey of interconnectedness, guided by the wisdom of the Earth, as we strive for a harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.
RITUALS AND MYTHOLOGY
“A ritual is the enactment of a myth. And, by participating in the ritual, you are participating in the myth.”
― Joseph Campbell
